3.14 Groups with space-independent communication perform much better than groups without communication. Large groups perform better than small ones: as soon as one agent discovers the target it communicates the relevant information to the other agents which stop exploring the environment randomly and move directly to the target. Given that in large groups it takes less time for the first agent to discover the target, these groups outperform smaller ones.
